CTA Forum Policy

Discussion Forum Rules:
  1. Brevity - There's a famous quote attributed variously to Blaise Pascal,  Winston Churchill, Abraham Lincoln, and George Bernard Shaw (!): "I'm sorry I wrote you such a long letter; I wanted to write a short one but I didn't have time." Being concise takes a lot of work! Please condense your thoughts to the most economical form.
  2. Civility - Participants join discussion in a spirit of fellowship, friendship, and common values based in reason and enlightenment. Comments should be supportive of a person's good qualities or virtues as the primary emphasis, and be genteel and respectful.
  3. Positivity - Seek out and emphasize positive moral values including community camaraderie.
  4. Relevance - The Forum is focussed on grasping human nature through art and culture, and in using works of art to cultivate enlightenment. The forum's content is curated by the forum leader. The goal is to make the forum community into a model of a rational culture, and to support the individual's growth as a reasoning being.
Privacy: We do not sell or otherwise distribute any personal information.

Schedule: Subscribers are guaranteed at least 48 new issues per year (an average of 4 per month). [Publication of the letter will commence after the forum's startup period.]

Copyright: The right of authors to control the propagation of their work is a serious and proper concern protected by the law. Content in the CTA Forum is protected under copyright law, all rights reserved. Members retain the right to the further use of their own text. All content offered through the CTA Forum is either original, licensed (including via creative commons), in the public domain, or used in accordance with educational "fair use" practices. Content may not be shared outside the forum without permission.

Refunds: Monthly subscriptions can be discontinued at any time, and cancellation becomes effective as of the end of the current paid month. Annual subscriptions are prepaid at a discount, which is a mutual commitment; therefore no refunds of annual subscriptions are possible.
